Metsä Board, part of Metsä Group, and Euroports have signed an agreement on 16th December 2021, according to which Metsä Board Corporation will sell the entire share capital of its fully owned subsidiary Oy Hangö Stevedoring Ab to Euroports Finland Oy.

Euroports Finland Oy is Finland’s leading full-service port operator, which offers a range of value-added services. Euroports Finland is part of the international Euroports Group, which operates in 32 terminals and logistic platforms globally and has a workforce of about 3,000 employees.

Oy Hangö Stevedoring Ab has provided cargo handling services at Port of Hanko since 1912. It has gained a strong proficiency during its 100 years in the business. Oy Hangö Stevedoring Ab has around 180 employees, first-rate loading equipment and modern IT solutions.
